Myopia (nearsightedness) in children has increased rapidly in recent years. Studies have shown that myopia often progresses most rapidly during the winter months, which is why new cases of myopia are often detected in the spring.

The story of Pro Optika began in 1991 with Varju Lauri, an entrepreneur from Võrumaa, whose goal was to bring people better vision and more modern glasses.

When Eva was still studying optometry, orthokeratology contact lenses were still unknown. Fortunately, Eva was still interested in trying something new within her field, this time as a client herself.

Kiara received her first pair of glasses with minus lenses at the age of six, which was a year and four months ago.
